In Memory Of King Duke
In May of 2022, we welcomed our first English Cream Golden puppy into our home. His name was Duke, a four-month-old puppy from an Iowa Breeder. Duke was always a happy-go-lucky puppy growing up and loved every dog and every person he met. Sadly, when Duke turned seven months old, our boy became very ill and was rushed to our local emergency vet, where it was determined that Duke was suffering from an obstruction. Throughout the weeks' Duke was under veterinary care and was soon released to come home. When he came home, he was still recovering but acting like his goofy self. But sadly, our hearts were shattered yet again. Duke fell ill roughly a week after coming home, and sadly though every test was run and every x-ray showed nothing wrong, he quickly declined. Sadly on October 9th, 2022, our beloved Duke lost his battle and sadly crossed over the rainbow. As much as we still cry about him every day, we also understand that he is always with us in our hearts. Rest In Peace, King Duke.
